Our Story

Hey there, reptile lovers! My name is Scarlett Nightshade, and I am a passionate herpetoculturist, academic author, artist and educator. My husband Abel and I keep and breed various species of snakes under our business name Creatures of Nightshade, where we work with some of the most legendary snakes from around the world!
 

My Reptile Crate was created to provide reptile lovers with a one-of-a-kind, immersive learning experience centered around reptiles. After the growing popularity of its parent company, My Snake Crate, we decided to embark on a journey in educating fellow animal lovers through a series of crates that will focus on every group of animals in the animal kingdom.

 

Through educational activities and awesome goodies, every box is packed with not only knowledge, but fun! Plus, every item inside is written, designed and made by hand right here in our home.
 

Each Reptile of the Month featured in My Reptile Crate is proudly selected by our little family of reptile lovers, with each item offering a special experience to bond through the remarkable realm of reptiles. We hope you enjoy learning about your scaley companions, and most importantly, have fun!
